There’s a new authentic Indian restaurant that’s taking off in the Rocket City. The Curry in Huntsville opened in early October, breathing new life into a building that sat empty for almost a year.
About The Curry Modern Indian Restaurant
From slices to bowls, what was once Mario’s Five Points Pizza is now The Curry in Huntsville’s Five Points neighborhood. Located at 607 Andrew Jackson Way, The Curry is bringing a taste of India to the city!
Bold, aromatic flavors from curry to saffron to cayenne pepper will greet guests as soon as they walk in the door.
The Curry offers buffet-style dining plus a la carte options during lunch. The buffet is a good way for those new to Indian food and superfans to enjoy a varied sampling of high-quality dishes prepared by a South Indian chef.
Curries, biryanis, dosas, bowls and more can all be found on the menu. There are appetizers, soups, salads and dishes prepared in a traditional tandoor clay oven.
The “Lemon Chicken Tikka,” for example, is one tandoor dish that features chicken breast in a lemon zest yogurt marinade. There is also an Indo-Chinese section of the menu that includes “Chicken Manchurian,” which is crispy chicken in Manchurian sauce with spring onions.
