Things are taking off for the new Auburn Research and Innovation Campus in Huntsville that will serve as a collaboration center, research and development hub and more.
About the Auburn Research and Innovation Campus
Located at 345 Voyager Way Northwest in Cummings Research Park, Auburn Research and Innovation Campus in Huntsville is poised for greatness. Community leaders and Auburn University officials held a grand opening for the center in late October 2022.
Conveniently situated near defense industry and aerospace titans, the campus will support applied research and development work for industries, the city, Redstone Arsenal and others.
The nine-acre property extends Auburn University’s footprint in several high-tech fields—more specifically in areas of biotechnology, advanced manufacturing and quantum metrology, just to name a few.
Laborites housed on-site at the Auburn Research and Innovation Campus in Huntsville will allow students and researchers a space to conduct leading-edge studies and much more.
In addition to educational opportunities, the campus will also be used as a meeting place for Auburn alumni, recruiting events and more.
More than science
One cool twist at the science, research and tech-driven campus will be the rotating art exhibits on display. More than 35 pieces from Auburn’s Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, including original works of famed Puerto Rican artist Gamaliel Rodríguez, will be on featured at the Huntsville campus initially.
Overall, the new research campus is designed to inspire great minds in the spirit of innovation and collaboration.
