Galaxy of Lights at the Huntsville Botanical Garden is a regional tradition this time of year that has been dazzling visitors for more than 25 years. All ages will delight in the holiday cheer on shining display throughout the Garden.
Galaxy of Lights Walking Nights ended in November. Since it’s December, it’s officially time for Galaxy of Lights Driving Nights going on through January 1st. Get ready to make festive memories along the more than two-and-a-half mile drive full of twinkle lights!
See Santa soar over a quaint village. Nursery rhymes come to life, holiday scenes sparkle and much more—all from the comfort of your car.

Voting for this year’s top 10 spots just closed, and the 2021 list will be shared sometime today! Be sure to visit 10best.com for this year’s winners.
Typically, the drive-through experience takes about an hour, but it really just depends on traffic!
You can purchase tickets ahead of time online or at the gate. Tickets can also be used for any Driving Night, not just the date on the ticket. The ticket price is per vehicle with up to 10 occupants.
Try to arrive as close to 5:30 p.m. as possible. Weekends and the week of Christmas tend to be the busiest times, so plan accordingly.
Finally, don’t forget to tune into 98.5 for a special Galaxy of Lights playlist during the drive!
Location and Hours
Follow the lights all the way to 4747 Bob Wallace Ave. Galaxy of Lights at the Huntsville Botanical Garden starts at 5:30 p.m. nightly. The last vehicle will be admitted at 9 p.m.
